Organized by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development sales team, the mission is open to all Tennessee tourism partners interested in participating.
During these events, Tennessee Partner teams will distribute information and resources about Tennessee, including information from each location participating. Partners will update the operators on anything new from their respective destination, as well as answer any questions the operator may have regarding any destination in Tennessee.
Partner costs will vary depending on your team’s travel arrangements and mission needs.
- Up to five days of travel (hotels, your meals, etc.)
- Transportation and flight costs (if applicable) and your share of a car rental fee/gas
- Giveaway items you will provide for goodie bags
- Miscellaneous items, such as your share of taking a client to dinner or bringing treats to an appointment
The 2019 Sales Sampler will be held the week of August 26 - 30, 2019, educating travel agents and tour operators about Tennessee experiences from across the state. Each team will visit operators in a different market; both drive-only and fly-drive markets will be available.
Tennessee Partner registration for Sales Sampler will be available in July 2019.
2019 markets include:
Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Orlando, FL; St. Louis, MO; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; and Pennsylvania.
