Welcome to the Partner Data Resources page
The information here is intended for DMO partner consumption and data-driven decisions for
destination management and marketing. Data and resources on this page will continue to grow
and expand.

Who can benefit from this information?
This information is primarily shared to assist those DMOs and partners who have limited
financial capabilities to acquire third-party data sources. This data will help partners who have
no/limited access to data, but may not replace the benefits of gaining direct access to data
and market research specific to your community.

Note:
Please exercise caution when communicating the information contained in these dashboards
with non-tourism professionals. If you have questions about this data, or how to interpret the
information, please contact josh.gibson@tn.gov.

Zartico Dashboard
The dashboard below is powered by Zartico. It is a free, limited view meant to provide high-
level county snapshots. DMOs who wish to go deeper can contact Zartico directly to learn
about full-feature capabilities and discounts for Tennessee DMOs.

Background
This dashboard uses a proprietary model/combination of anonymous credit card spending
(source: Affinity) and geolocation data (source: Azira). The goal is to

  • Understand the portions of spending attributed to visitors vs residents.
  • Characterize how visitors move within a community.- Define top original markets for the most impactful community visitors.

How can this data help you? This free dashboard is helpful for communities who

  • Have limited data about origin visitor markets.
  • Desire to prove that visitors come to the community.

Caveats:

  • This data does not replace or supersede annual economic impact and visitation reports commissioned by the department. Instead, this dashboard should complement those annual reports; provided a more real-time tool for analyzing the visitor economy.
  • This dashboard should be treated as “directional” rather than “absolute”. It can inform the direction of your efforts, but is limited to the available data inputs. For instance,
    • It is based on a sample of anonymized mobile devices in an area and not a total view of all devices.
    • It will include anonymized credit card transactions that occurred within the particular boundary, but will not capture cash or e-commerce sales. That means hotel/short-term rental bookings paid for online will not show here.
