TDTD, Tennessee Partners and Travel South USA States Showcased the South at Final Night of Active America China

TDTD with Memphis and Nashville partners promoted Tennessee to the Chinese travel market at Travel South USA’s event “Taste & Tunes of the South – A Legendary Event” for the final night of Active America China March 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Active America China is a multi-day travel trade show dedicated 100% to building inbound Chinese tourism to North America.

Travel South USA hosted more than 230 guests including many Chinese operators looking to add the South to their product offerings during their final night event. Tennessee’s reception area served barbecue with a choice of barbecue sauces from Memphis’ Corky’s and Vernon’s Smokehouse at Graceland. Nashville CVC co-sponsored the music with other Rhythms of the South partners.

Starting this summer, Delta Airlines will offer a direct flight from Shanghai to Atlanta. The flight addition will allow the Chinese market to have easier access to the Southern region of the U.S. and new travel experiences.
