The Governor’s Management Fellows Program visited the Smith Co. Welcome Center Oct. 1 to learn about the service and initiatives of the hospitality and tourism industry presented by TDTD and Tennessee’s tourism partners.
Pete Rosenboro, TDTD Assistant Commissioner of Welcome Centers; Michael Ross, Middle Tennessee Regional Manager of Welcome Centers; and Zach Ledbetter, Vice President of the Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors’ Bureau shared insights with the Fellows around the breadth of hospitality services provided by Tennessee.
The Governor’s Management Fellows Program is a prestigious program open to recent college graduates with outstanding academic achievement, character, leadership abilities and a passion for serving their community. The selected five Fellows spend two years working for senior and top-ranking government officials and learn state government initiatives in order to help support measurable improvements in the state’s operations.
