The annual AARC Conference was held in Daytona Beach where Tennessee “Fueled Up for Retiree Recruitment.” Sixteen partners from 12 Retire Tennessee counties were present along with five developers from Tennessee’s community developments.
The conference included seminars on assisting communities to reach their full potential when it comes to marketing and promoting areas to the Boomer generation. Additional topics covered included Tips for Attracting Retirees Using Social Media; the Seven Essential Lures in Attracting Retirees; Lead Nurturing – Moving Your Leads through the Funnel; Telling Your Destination's Story: Working with Media to Get Your Word Out and more.
During the conference the following partners received the Seal of Approval Award: Bristol-Kingsport-Sullivan County; Roane County; Loudon County; Crossville-Cumberland County; Cookeville-Putnam County; Hardin County; Henderson County; Maury County; Franklin County; Chattanooga-Hamilton County; Campbell County and Morristown-Hamblen County. The Seal of Approval recognizes communities who have made a commitment for providing a “best in class” lifestyle for retirees.
The 2019 conference takes place Nov. 6-8 at The Read House in Chattanooga.
