The 2018 Congressional Summit on Travel & Tourism produced by Southeast Tourism Society is scheduled for July 17-19 in Washington, D.C. Barbara Wolke, senior vice president of the Rutherford County Convention & Visitors Bureau, is serving as Tennessee’s chair for this year’s event.

The STS Congressional Summit on Travel & Tourism is an opportunity to connect federal policies to local communities and talk about tourism in the halls of Congress. Industry leaders engage with legislators to share the economic impact of tourism and to tell Tennessee’s success stories.
