Minnie Pearl Honored with the Unveiling of a “Tennessee Music Pathways” Marker in her Hometown

On Dec. 10, TDTD honored Sara Ophelia Colley-Cannon, better known as Cousin Minnie Pearl, with the installation of a “Tennessee Music Pathways” marker in her hometown of Centerville. Known as the undisputed Queen of country comedy, Minnie Pearl performed at the Grand Old Opry for 50 years charming fans with her whit and trademarked charm.
