Lexington, TN Celebrates Buddy Cannon in Tennessee Music Pathways Sign Dedication

TDTD and tourism partners in Lexington, Tennessee celebrated Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Buddy Cannon by unveiling a Tennessee Music Pathways marker that details his beginnings and career accomplishments.

Those in attendance included Buddy Cannon himself as well as Whisperin’ Bill Anderson, one of the most successful songwriters in country music history, and local leaders. More than 200 locations statewide indicate markers, statues, murals and attractions that celebrate and educate on the deep music roots of Tennessee.
