Tennessee Songwriters Month


Tennessee Songwriters Month is an annual competition for up-and-coming songwriters. This celebration of the state’s rich musical history puts new artists, local venues and cities across the state on full display, inspiring travellers to visit our vibrant music scene. For any venue interested in hosting in 2027, please check back to apply.

Mark your calendars! 2027 Tennessee Songwriters Month will be an exciting one, with qualifying rounds and showcases held across the state.

Venue Sign-ups: Begin in September 2026

Songwriter Sign-ups: Begin mid-December 2026

Qualifying Rounds: January 24 - February 6, 2027
