2021 Annual Welcome Center Regionals and Managers Meeting

Last week, management from TDTD’s 16 Welcome Center came together at the central office for their annual Welcome Center Regionals and Managers Meeting. During the three-day conference, they heard updates from TDTD’s central office teams, the Tennessee Department of Transportation, End Slavery Tennessee, the Department of Human Resources, listened to training and educational seminars and toured the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and National Museum of African American Music.

TDTD’s Welcome Centers staff members play a pivotal role in promoting tourism across the state as they are often the first people and places visitors stop at when traveling through Tennessee. Welcome Centers are always putting out brochures in racks to help educate new and returning visitors of attractions, restaurants, hotels and more that can be found across the state.
