Now Open: Round 4 Tourism Enhancement Grant

The fourth round of the Tourism Enhancement Grant application is available for counties and cities seeking to enhance existing tourism assets or develop new infrastructure to increase economic impact.

Funded by the Rural Economic Opportunity Act, the Tourism Enhancement Grant offers communities grants of up to $75,000 with a match requirement based on economic status. This grant is funded by TN Department of Economic and Community Development and is in partnership and facilitated by TDTD.

Tourism Enhancement Grants are designed for cities and counties seeking to invest in local tourism infrastructure assets such as stages, boat ramps, scenic pull-offs and other resources that expand local tourism.

Grant Changes:

• New this year, more than one application can be submitted from within a county. However, those with active, open grants from prior TEG rounds are not eligible.
• Strategic plans are not available through this grant in Round 4.
• Eligible properties include those owned by City, County or IDBs and/or leased by TVA or Corps of Engineers. 

Interested local governments must submit their completed application by May 15, 2019.
