Dawn Grooms Named TDTD’s New Business Manager

Dawn Grooms is the new business manager for TDTD.

Dawn joins TDTD from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation where she worked as the budget analyst coordinator. Dawn assisted in managing the budgets for Tennessee’s 56 state parks and the in-state environmental regulatory programs. Her main focus was working individually with managers to help them better understand their financial reports. She was a liaison between program staff and fiscal services. Grooms brings this experience to TDTD to assist in managing grant programs and will serve as the liaison for purchase cards, vehicle management, shipping, and various other administrative duties.

Grooms earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Martin. 

She is an active member of her church and enjoys serving in her community through various non-profit organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with her dog, Maggie. She and her husband Justin are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first child this fall
