TDTD Spotlights Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge in Recent Instagram, Snapchat Stories

In order to better share the wealth of Tennessee music, attractions, outdoors, history, family and culinary experiences, TDTD creates Instagram and Snapchat Stories that share the unique offerings of destinations and Tennessee artists . To date, stories have highlighted Memphis, Nashville, Johnson City, Bonnaroo, Valerie June and more.

Recently, TDTD turned the spotlight on Parrot Mountain in Pigeon Forge and Rock City in Chattanooga. Read on to see the results:

Parrot Mountain:

Impressions/views: 24,451

The Parrot Mountain and Gardens attraction in Pigeon Forge was featured in a social media story on TDTD’s Instagram (@tnvacation) and Snapchat (TENNESSEE) channels July 11. The story highlighted the experiences and interactions with rare birds a visitor can have while touring the four-acre parrot preserve. The attraction’s partner page on tnvacation.com was linked at the end of the story. The story generated 24,541 impressions after two weeks since publication and can still be viewed on @tnvacation’s Instagram highlights.

Rock City:

Impressions/views: 18,244

Chattanooga’s Rock City attraction was featured in a social media story on TDTD’s Instagram channel on June 26. The story highlighted the ancient rock formations, gardens and wildlife that make up Rock City atop Lookout Mountain. Viewers could wipe up to the article “10 Things to Do in Chattanooga” at the end to encourage even further exploration of the area. The story generated 18,244 impressions after four weeks since publication. This story is still viewable on the @tnvacation Instagram highlights.
