Cindy Dupree Retires from TDTD after 12 ½ Years of Service

TDTD wishes a happy retirement to Cindy Dupree who has served as PR director since 2006 and additionally, for the past five years as public information officer.
 
In a letter to industry leaders announcing Cindy’s retirement Commissioner Kevin Triplett said, “I think you all will agree that for more than the decade, TDTD has had one of the most passionate, caring people with whom any of us have probably worked in our careers as its point of communication.”
 
In her announcement to the industry, Dupree reminisced about the happy memories throughout the years, and credited the many successes as team efforts shared with the tourism staff and industry.
 
“I’m stepping through an open door too good to pass up, to pursue my dream of writing for a living,” Dupree said. “It's been a blessing to be part of TDTD and Tennessee’s mighty tourism industry, to work with you, and to serve the great state of Tennessee. The partners who make up Tennessee’s tourism industry have made these years some of the most memorable of my career.”
