Tennessee Welcome Centers have a new look at the front desk as iPad kiosks have been added to collect guest profile information. Guests to the centers will now have an alternative way to sign-in for a faster and more efficient experience.
This allows TDTD to collect guest information while expanding our marketing database to reengage with them through future communications.
“As we continue to incorporate technology into the way we operate state welcome centers, we are creating a better experience for our guests and also continuing our green initiatives by reducing the amount of paper used,” said Pete Rosenboro, assistant commissioner of Welcome Centers.
Other tech improvements over the past few years include equipping welcome center assistants with iPads to service visitor requests as well as adding Wi-Fi and Tennessee music to all centers.
