2017 brings expansions to Tennessee’s tourism industry with new attractions, impressive state-of-the-art developments, and milestone anniversaries of iconic attractions and events that helped shape “The Soundtrack of America. Made in Tennessee.”
Most notable for 2017, Tennessee celebrates the 125th anniversary of Ryman Auditorium and the 100th of Chattanooga’s famous MoonPie. The 80th anniversary of the award-winning state parks will be commemorated. The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum turns 50 and the Bluebird turns 35. 2017 is the 40th of Elvis Week and Bristol Sessions are remembering the “big bang of country music” turning 90.
