Fred Underdown

Fred Isaac Underdown was born in Athens, TN to a farming family whose ancestors came to McMinn County in 1830’s.   At the age of 6 he moved to Toledo, Ohio with his Mother, where he attended Toledo Public schools and the University of Toledo, he majored in Business Administration. While serving as Director of Administrative Operations at   Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, he became a PhD candidate. Shortly thereafter he left the University and started a successful software development consulting company, he retired in 1993 and moved back to ancestral home in Tennessee.
